ECG Monitoring Systems
The Zen ECG Module is the new “heart” of the Solar Energy System, bringing all of the data on the Environment, Consumption and Generation of your system to your fingertips. This intelligent system connects to your home or business network to display the data on any PC.
The new ZEN ECG Module is for those people who want to understand more about their Home Energy Generation versus Consumption and the Environmental variables that impact on both. The ECG is a fully integrated monitoring system that reports Environmental, Consumption and Generation data via the Home, School or Business network to any PC. All components are neatly and safely integrated into one smart unit.
The ECG Module connects to both the ZEN Weather Station that is mounted alongside your Solar Panels and the Consumption Meters we place inside your switchboard collecting the following information:
- Energy Generation vs Energy Consumption
- Solar Irradiation (The strength of the sun’s rays hitting the earth, which can average 1,000 Watts per sqm.)
- Ambient Temperature vs Solar Module Temperature (To monitor the efficiency as the panels heat up.)
- Wind Speed (To monitor the cooling effect and efficiency gain from wind flow around the panels).
The ECG is a modular addition to any of the ZEN Home Energy Systems and turns the system into a complete educational system designed to meet and exceed all the requirements of the National Solar Schools program currently operating in Australia.
The new ZEN ECG Module is also perfect for businesses that can use their power generation as an education tool, or display the output of their power system, including:
- businesses who wish to display their power output on their website
- business reception displays
- colleges & universities
- visitor information centres
- demonstration facilities.
This information is presented through an easy to understand interface with our free FlashView Software and Web Portal that also translates the information into Driven Kilometres Saved and C02 Emissions Saved. The data is broadcast via your local network modem/router or optional 3G Wireless connections. Customisable charting via the web portal makes this a great educational tool.
